Sunday 4th November: Autumn Hike & Picnic near Kobe 1*

Back-up date:   Saturday 3rd November, if weather forecast for 4^th is bad.

This will be an easy 2-hour hike to Lake Futatabi for a buffet-style picnic and some games amidst amazing autumn colours.

Optional 2-hour hike back to Shin-Kobe or take a bus directly to Sannomiya.

Meeting point:  Outside Shinkobe Shinkansen station. One level below ticket barriers.

Meeting time:   09:45 a.m.

Start hiking:     10:00 a.m.

Hike:                Approximately 2 hours

Destination:     Futatabi Koen about noon 

Please bring:

good shoes for hiking

warm clothing (it can get quite cold by mid-afternoon)

rainwear

eating and drinking utensils

a groundsheet

food and drinks (alcohol also okay if you like!) to share among a lot of people

flashlight – For emergency, if you plan to hike down with the group

water bottle for the hike (some drinking water is available along the way)

snacks – for the trail

camera (optional)

outdoor games – for children and/or adults
