This is an easy hike/walk to see the famous Hoshi no Buranko pedestrian suspension bridge in the hills around Katano (Southeast of Hirakata). Perfect for beginners as there is an option to leave at the halfway point if you're feeling tired.

Description of the event/course: Easy hiking trail from Kawachimori station to Hoshino Buranko and back to Kisaichi Station. Map time 2hr 35min.
From Kisaichi station, you have the option to return home if you're feeling tired or continue if you're still feeling good! We will decide on the day whether to go to Kuronde Ike Park or Mt. Kono. Map time around 3 hours.
Total walking time around 5 and a half or 6 hours

Meeting point and time: Kawachimori Station (Keihan Katano Line) 10:00am

Transportation:
From Kyoto: From any of the following stations, Demachiyanagi, Sanjo, Gion-Shijo or Shichijo, take the Keihan Main Line Limited Express bound for Yodoyabashi.  Change at Hirakata and take the Keihan Katano Line bound for Kisaichi. Get off at Kawachimori Station. Cost ¥450.
From Osaka: From any of the following stations, Yodoyabashi, Kitahama, Temmabashi or Kyobashi, take the Keihan Main Line Limited Express bound for Demachiyanagi. Change at Hirakata and take the Keihan Katano Line bound for Kisaichi. Get off at Kawachimori Station. Cost ¥350.

Requirements/What to bring: Hiking boots or walking/running shoes will be fine. Please bring water and lunch.
