Cherry Blossom Hike in Yoshino (1.5 stars)

Tuesday 2nd April

Yoshino is one of the most famous places in the region for viewing mountain cherry blossoms.

The blossoms should be stunning, but the crowds might be too!

However, we will get away from the crowds by heading up the mountain on a 4 -> 5 hour hike.

The hike will not be technical and we’ll be walking slowly, admiring the blossoms along the way, so everyone is welcome!

Meet: Kintetsu Abenobashi station at 09:00 a.m.

Cost: Return train fare to Abenobashi station + train fare (970 yen each way) to Yoshino.

Take: Warm hiking clothes and hiking shoes/boots, rainwear (just in case), lunch, drink, groundsheet if you have one, camera and walking sticks (optional)
