Let's celebrate the New Year in the hills near Kobe with our IOC friends!

Meeting point and time: Hankyu Ashiyagawa station 13:00

We'll follow the popular hiking course up through the Rock Garden to 'Kazefukuiwa' rock, from where we'll have fantastic views out over Osaka Bay. Here we'll enjoy some hot mulled wine and snacks before completing the circular hike down to Okamoto. Dinner is optional and will be at the wonderful Thai restaurant 'Kuwanchai' in Okamoto.

If you're unable to join the hike but would like to join only for dinner, that'll be fine, but advance reservation is necessary.

Dinner will be from 17:30 until approximately 20:00 and will cost approximately 2,000 yen, depending on what you order.

What to bring: hiking shoes and warm clothes, gloves and hat, waterproof (Gortex) clothing, drinking water, hiking sticks (optional), a cup and plate.

Max # of participants: 12 (both members and non-members are welcome, but there will be a 500 yen charge for non-members) Participants will be accepted on a first-come-first served basis.

Deadline for sign-up for both hike and dinner: Saturday 18th January by 24:00. Please state whether you'd like the join the hike or dinner or both. If you are a not an IOC member, please also give your mobile phone number. Thank you!
