Introduction
Description of the event/course: We'll hike up Mount Rokko following the
Sumiyoshi River. It's an ascent of about 900 m which should take about
3 to 4 hours and most of which is easy. Only the last stretch is very steep.
We'll have lunch on top and then head down to Arima Spa (有馬温泉).
In Arima we may take a hot bath in one of the public onsen Gin-no-yu
(銀の湯 550 yen) or Kin-no-yu (金の湯 650 yen). We'll get back either by
bus or by train.
Meeting point and time: Hankyu Mikage Station North Exit
(阪急御影駅・北改札口), 9:30 am
Transportation & accommodation (including costs): Going back to Kobe
by bus or train is about 700 - 1000 yen
Requirements/What to bring: Hiking Shoes/Boots, Warm Clothes (it can be cold
and windy on the top of Rokko-San even if it's warm in the city), Rainwear
(Gortex or similar);
Drinking Water, Lunch (Bento), Snacks;
Towel and whatever you need for the onsen
