We'll follow the well-known hiking course from Ashiagawa, up through the Rock Garden to 'Kazefuki-iwa' rock from where we'll have fantastic views out over Osaka Bay. Here we'll enjoy some hot
mulled wine and snacks before completing the circular hike down to Okamoto.
Dinner is optional and will be at the popular Thai restaurant (Kuwanchai¹ in
Okamoto http://khuanjai.com/restaurant/1085/
If you're unable to join the hike, but would like to join only for dinner, please contact Estella to see if there is space.

Access by both Hankyu (arrive Ashiyagawa and return from Okamoto) and JR lines (arrive Ashiya and return from
Setsumotoyama)

Dinner: 3,000 yen including 1 drink

Requirements/What to bring:
hiking shoes and warm clothes, gloves and hat,
waterproof (Gortex) clothing, drinking water, hiking sticks (optional)

Max # of participants: 15 (both members and non-members are welcome)

Deadline for sign-up: Wednesday 18th January by 18:00

Cancellation policy:
If the weather forecast on Friday 20th evening (18:00)
is for more than 50 per cent precipitation on Saturday afternoon, we'll
cancel the hike, but still meet for dinner in Okamoto at 16:50. Anyone
cancelling dinner after 18:00 on Wednesday 18th, may be expected to pay the
cost of the dinner (3,000 yen)

Special note:
Please eat lunch before the hike, as we will not be making a
lunch stop. When signing up, please give your full name, email address and
mobile phone number and state whether or not you¹d like to join us for the
Thai dinner. Also, if you have any dietary requirements, please explain.
