Snowshoe Trip, Bunaga-dake Feb.4th(Sun)

If you have own snowshoes, welcome to join.

It's snowshoe season again.  Lets go play in the snow.  The destination is Bunaga-Dake Mount Hira in Shiga prefecture, next to Lake Biwa.  You will need warm clothes for the snow, hat and gloves of course, sturdy hiking boots, and food and snacks.  If you have one, a camp stove for hot drinks etc. would be useful.  No previous snowshoeing experience is necessary.
Also let me know if you want to borrow IOC snowshoes.
First come first served!
Meeting: JR Hira Station 7:11am
Accommodation: I reserved 6 people sleeping space with your sleeping bag on Saturday night.

Snowboard, Ski, Snowshoe and Cross country ski event in Hakuba.
Leave Kansai on Feb. 9th by overnight bus, stay in Hakuba minekata 2nights then back Osaka by daytime bus on 12th(mon).

09th(Fri)take an overnight bus to Hakuba
          Kobe sannomiya 20:50  Namba 20:30  Suita 22:10
10th(Sat)arrive Hakuba around 6:40
        go to minsyuku and leave baggage
        head to Happo ski resort enjoy snowboard or ski
        back to minsyuku by owners car
11th(Sun)rent cross country ski at Minekata ski resort
        enjoy cross country ski 5Km.
12th(Mon)snowshoe hike around Minekata
        take a bus from Hakuba station at 13:30
        arrive Osaka 22:30 Namba 23:00
total cost: 33,000yen + lunch and rental fee

IOC Gallery Night Feb.17th(sat)

Here, let me inform about this year's Gallery night.
We'll have this event from 18:00 on Feb.17th and the place is the same,
"Nakanoshimakoukaid­o” ( To get there, take Subway Midousuji-line, get off at "Yodoyabashi and go out from No.1 exit. From that exit, it takes 5 min.)

Snowshoe in Nagano Nabekura on Feb 24-25th

Hi everyone,

I'm planning to snowshoe at Nabekura highland in Nagano on February 24th and
25th, going by rent-a-car. We'll stay at a cottage Saturday night and cook
dinner together. The cottage has all equipment to cook and sleep.

Niseko Hokkaido ski Feb.24-26th

Niseko is famous Ski Resort in Japan and many foreigner visit.
We will meet Chitose airport 11:00 and rent a car (5 people). We drive 2.5 hours Niseko and enjoy ski 2.5 day. We will back to Chitose 17:00.
Accomodation is backpackers house close to ski resort.
