Hello!

Have you ever climbed 100meizan in Shikoku?
There are two peaks, Ishizuchi-san and Turugi-san.
I am planing to go these mountain on 17th to 19th in July

Ishizuchi-san is one of the highest mountain in Kansai, 1982m.
Near the top is hard to climb since it is steep, almost vertical, rocky stretch,
that we have to use chain.
But we can see beautiful ravine and mountains covered with a sea of trees.

Turugi-san is rather easy, since it is short rout. But that peak also high,1955m

Tentative plan:

July 17th
Meet at Shin-Osaka and leave by car am 7:00
Arrive at Ishizuchi ski rope way in 12:00
Start climbing in 12:30

Arrive at Top of the Ishizuchi-san, Ishizuchi shrine
and then go back to camp site, near the ninokusari-goya around 17:00.

July 18th
We leave camp site around am 7:00
Walk Yoake toge - jyujibunki-Iwahara -Nishinokawa - Ishizuchi ski rope way :10:00

Leave for Turugi-san by car.

Arrive at Kazura-bashi camp site around 15:00
We will pitch tents, make dinner and enjoy drinking, eating.

July 19th
We leave Kazura-bashi camp site am 6:30 and move to Minokoshi am 7:00.
climb to Turugi-san and then go back to Minokoshi again around 12:00.

We leave Minokoshi and arrive at Osaka around 16:00

What you should bring:
hiking boots, hiking pants, quick-drying t-shirts, rain gear,
hat, water, sunscreen, map and emergency kit
sleeping bag, tent, head ramp, foods, cooker, gas stove

We will go to two 100maizan and do camping two night.
So, I think better, you are experienced person of climbing, camping.
I recommend to take out an insurance policy too.

The maximum are around 6 participant. And we need tent.

The cost of lent a car is roughly 13,000yen x 3days and gas cost around 6,000yen and highway fee.
I want to share the total cost by member.

If you have any question, please contact me or co arranging member Noriko.

See you!
