we are going to Hakuba-Goryo-Tomi (Nagano) skiing area on April 3rd and 4th. Why don't you join us for a last bit of winter before cherry blossom sets in in Kansai?
The plan:
We leave Kansai Saturday early morning (around 2am) by car to our accommodation, the "Obergurgl" hotel (arrival time around 8.00am). There we have a short rest/nap and breakfast before we enjoy skiing! Rental of skis, snowboards and snowshoes is possible at the hotel; if people are interested, we can organize a snow shoeing guide as well. A good dinner and a nice atmosphere will help you to relax and "chill out" on Saturday evening, before going on the slopes again on Sunday. Around 3pm on Sunday, we drive back to Kansai.
Accommodation: Hotel Obergurgl, 399-9211 Hakuba-no-mori, Kamishiro, Hakuba-mura, Kita-Azumi-gun, Nagano-ken. Access to the hotel by train possible as well: from JR Kamishiro station (on the JR Oito line), it is a 30 minutes walk to the hotel (or a much shorter ride if you manage to contact one of us drivers to pick you up).

Transportation: Ryoh and Sachi are going by car and can take 3 more people. Depending on the number of participants, Dominikus is driving a second car to Hakuba. Departure around 4am from Kansai area.

Hotel Obergurgl is 10000JPY including breakfast on Saturday and Sunday and dinner on Saturday. If you prefer to arrive on Friday evening (April 2nd), it is ok as well, but obviously more expensive and you need to tell us. Rental equipment (ski set, snowboard set, ...) 1500-2000JPY per day. Lift tickets (discount price, thanks to the hotel): 4000JPY (one day), 7500JPY (two days)
