A New IOC WEB Master with good ideas for improving the WEBSITE.
I have been running the IOC website since 2004, and I'm looking for someone to take over as IOC Webmaster. We have had the same design for a while, so if anyone had some new design or improvement ideas, why not give it a try?
I currently have a contract with a Domain company and WEB hosting company and pay them by Lawson payment system every year.
The only catch is that both companies only use Japanese language in their operations.
If you have interest in becoming the New IOC WEB Master, Please contact me, I will let you know the details of both the domain and hosting companies.
For the next WEB MASTER, you can choose to either keep using these companies, or find another company that has English language support.
If you want to keep the same environment (not change Hosting company) ,You need to have some skill in Japanese (communication by e-mail.)
The hosting company sometimes warns you for irregular traffic, a big e-mail posting, and other problems on the web page. They can discontinue hosting serves if you do not fix the problem because other users may be inconvenienced.
Also, this hosting company control panel is only in Japanese (no English).
Control panel has Mail trasnsfer setting, Disk capacity check, attack protect IP address setting, blog menu, payment history management.
However, we have often talked about the possibility of contracting a non-japanese company and making a newly designed web page.
This would make it easier for anyone to become WEB Master.
It's an excellent idea and I hope we can do this. We should be able to keep the same domain name.
